Maxwell at 7 Months

Of course I forgot to put the pictures in and post this, this is what he was doing as of June 1.

Weight: 18.5 lbs.
Height: forgot to measure him
Size: mostly 9 month
Teeth: 0

I love the "swimming" thing he does.

 Contemplating life.

This was a big month for Max. He started babbling and army crawling. He gets on his hands and knees and rocks back and forth and then flops onto his belly and "swims."

He is really good at sitting now. At the beginning of the month I had to sit next to him so I could grab him when he fell. Now I can walk away as long as he is on carpet.

He can transfer toys from one hand to another. It's a big milestone but I didn't realize he was doing it until Paul pointed it out. I have no clue when he started doing it.

He also started eating real food. He has had banana, avocado, yellow bell pepper, prime rib, watermelon, crab legs, pumpkin bread, and peas. He makes a disgusted face whenever we put anything in his mouth. Although he did like the bell pepper. I cut off a quarter of it and gave it to him to suck on. He also liked sucking on the watermelon that I put in the mesh food feeder. He can't pick up small pieces of food and put it in his mouth yet.

Basically every time I feed him:

He babbles "ba ba ba" and "da da da" all day. This is pretty much what every conversation is like:
Max: Da da.
Me: Say "mama."
Max: DAAAAAAAA da da da da da.

He's been doing this thing where he's like, "Oh, you have to be walking out the door in one minute? Cool, I just did a poop that'll take you ten minutes to clean up."

He loves "The Wheels on the Bus" and "This Little Piggy."

One of his favorite things is to knock over these towers the kids build with nesting cups.

I finally cleaned out my "crap room" aka the guest bedroom for him!

"Helping Mom with gardening" (scooting to the edge of the quilt and eating grass).

Always with that tongue.

Late night Target run.
