Here is J showing off his spider shirt that Grandma bought him. We had just given him a "Burkenomics" (free) haircut. He looks a little funny, but whatever :)
My husband's company does a trick-or-treat at the office, so J and I got to have lunch with Daddy and get some candy.
It didn't take him long to understand that he could go up to people and demand candy.
I tried to explain to him that he could put the candy in his pumpkin to make it easier to carry, but he didn't want to let go of it.
Sitting in Daddy's office
We did four pumpkins- one for Daddy, Mommy, J, and the baby. My husband carved the two big ones and J drew on the two small ones with a Sharpie.
As with the office, it didn't take him long to understand that he could march up to people's doors, knock, and demand candy. He was trying to flirt with the girl on the other side of this door.
We finished up at our neighbor's house. They bought J a nice bag of chocolate goldfish. He ate his goldfish and chased their cat around.
The downside of Halloween is that he doesn't understand it's only once a year. When I take him on walks, he tries to go up to people's doors and knock because he thinks they will come give him candy.
